She received her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She truly enjoys being a pediatric speech-language pathology generalist; working with children of all ages with varied communication disabilities. In 2017, Annette expanded the practice to include teletherapy to provide services for public school children in underserved areas of the United States. In addition to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, she is licensed to practice in Alaska, Arizona, California, West Virginia and Utah. She prides herself on providing motivating, effective sessions, by embracing the uniqueness of each child--whether it be a love of arts and crafts, books, vehicles, music, or sports-- and incorporating it in their therapy. Annette believes a family-centered, holistic approach to therapy drives optimum outcomes. She establishes a relationship with every family that entrusts JSLS clinicians to work with their child. Her greatest professional joys are seeing the children laugh and run to their clinician to begin therapy, and when parents and grandparents tell her that the JSLS staff is an extension of their own family! In her leisure time, Annette loves to spend time with her family outdoors. Her favorite activities are rowing, swimming and skiing. She is a fan of Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots!
